Lately I've been spending some time getting to know the great authors on Kindle Users Forum, which is full of talented indie writers mainly from the UK. About a month ago I stumbled across The Cult of Me, the blog of one of the authors.
Every month, The Cult of Me holds a short fiction competition based on a monthly picture. It's a fun way to stay fresh and inspired as a writer, often by writing something quite outside your comfort zone. I spent a little while typing up a story, and I was delighted to be picked as the winner of November's competition with my entry. Take a look at all the winning entries here.
